We are currently recruiting for the position of PA to Flumen’s Chairman to work in its Headquarter in Rome, Italy. Accommodation will be provided and covered, if required. The salary will depend on experience and can be discussed prior to interview.
Duties would include:
* screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
* meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
* organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
*dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of their manager;
* taking dictation and minutes;
* carrying out background research and presenting findings;
* producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;
*organising and attending meetings and ensuring their manager is well-prepared for meetings;
* liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff;
* devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc.;

As a part of the BASF Group, Wintershall AG has worldwide activities in the exploration, production and transportation of oil and natural gas.
Wintershall-Libya, a subsidiary of Wintershall AG, is an E&P company in Libya operating the C-96 and C-97 concessions. The company produces oil and gas from 7 fields in the Sirte basin.
Wintershall-Libya is furthermore actively involved in exploration in the Kufra basin. Our head office is in Tripoli, the production operations are coordinated from our Jakhira facilities in concession C-96. The company operates a work schedule of 4 weeks in the desert and 4 weeks home.

Wintershall-Libya invites applications for the post of Laboratory Supervisor at our Jakhira facility in concessions C-96 and C-97.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYThe Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for performing routine sampling and analysis of oil, water and gas samples as well as scales inside pipes and vessels in C96 and C97. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Carry out all works according to Wintershall regulations in general and in particularly the “Permit to Work” system. Keeping safety and environmental aspects at the top priority over any other interests.
- Carry out sampling of all plant fluids (water, oil and gas) and solids (scale, etc.).
- Carry out analysis of all plant fluids (water, oil and gas) and solids (scale, etc.).
- Produce reports on analysis results, ensure that the results are recorded correctly, timely and in an orderly manner, and enter the results into the Laboratory database.
- Carry out regular maintenance on the laboratory equipment as to ensure that both the laboratory and the equipment therein are clean, orderly and in good working condition.
- Support training of newly hired laboratory staff in order to ensure a smooth transition into the laboratory organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- Libyan national.
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- 5 years work experience in a laboratory environment within the Oil & Gas Refinery/Petrochemical or related service company
- Good English language skills
- Good computer skills
